Authentic Indian Store wants everyone to be able to shop with us, including people with disabilities. We are working to make our website accessible and easy to use.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.
What we do
- We build our pages with standard, structured HTML, so they work with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
- Menus, product tabs, accordions and forms can be used with a keyboard.
- We add text descriptions to images, label our form fields, and use color contrast that is easy to read.
- Our pages work when you zoom in, and on phones and tablets.
- We check new pages and features for accessibility as we build them.
Known limitations
- Some product descriptions and images come from manufacturers. Some images contain text, and their descriptions may be incomplete.
- The payment form and the security check on our forms are provided by other companies (Stripe and Cloudflare). We choose providers that support accessibility, but we don't control their design.
We are working to fix these.
